The Owner

Born and raised in Hayward, California, Kyle D. Curson, Sr. acquired his bachel.or's degree in philosophy at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he graduated magna cum laude (t-10%) within three (3) years. From there, a scholarship to Tulane University brought him to the great State of Louisiana.

After acquiring his license to practice law in 2018, Kyle has acquired experience in various components of civil, criminal and administrative litigation, representing clients in insurance defense, automobile and trucking accidents, workers' compensation claims, commercial and/or contractual disputes, and criminal defense with a focus on nonviolent crimes. After clerking and working as an associate for several years, he transitioned into a solo practice, where he continues to apply his skills and knowledge in providing effective and ethical legal counsel and advocacy.

Throughout his career, Kyle has demonstrated the ability to handle complex and challenging cases, conduct thorough research and analysis, draft persuasive motions and briefs in both criminal and civil contexts, and present compelling arguments in court and in advising administrative bodies. He has also contributed to the successes of his previous teams and current contracting organizations by collaborating with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders, delivering high-quality work product, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. He is passionate about advancing the interests of justice and serving the public good through his work as an attorney at law.

Kyle is known for his approachable, down-to-earth and relatable disposition, and he leverages the courtesy and respect that he insists on extending to his colleagues across the aisle in a manner that yields results in favor of his clients and his legal office's local reputation. It is with intention that he "speaks softly and carries a big stick," treating each and every step of litigation as akin to the most critical move in a high-stakes game of chess, driven with the knowledge that his clients' livelihoods are on the line with any given move.

Courtroom opponents who make the mistake of underestimating Kyle, taking his approachable demeanor for granted, or otherwise failing to appreciate the subtle delicacies behind Kyle's strategic approach to litigation are likely to end up surprised to discover their backs up against a ditch.
